Second demonstration session for the DURAWOOD
The second demonstration session for the DURAWOOD project was held in the company SETA in Ruzomberock, Slovakia on September 9, 2011. Attendees from the wood and coatings sectors acknowledged the interest of the information provided and the assets of the new plasma technology. Furthermore, the DURAWOOD prototype machine built at IRIS was demonstrated and the effect of the surface treatment the wettability of various wood samples was shown. The consortium wish to thank once more the participants for their feedback as well as Prof. Smollar for his valuable review of wood coatings.
